A latent malaise in our society

Since suicidal cases have been so rampant recently, I wonder what has been going through their minds. They have family, they have friends, they have money, they have a bright future lying ahead of them, and yet they choose to put an end to their lives, jumping off from tall building.

Inconsiderate. Irresponsible. Immature.

They chose hell over heaven on earth. They chose mate over family. They chose to splash their blood instead of donating it for a good cause. They chose depression over happiness. They sentenced themselves to death of a conviction which was absolutely groundless, not even considering a life-long imprisonment, a parole, or at least, an acquisition. I’m glad for them, for they can always make their own choice; I feel sorry for them too, for they had made the wrong one.

Don’t you see the smiling sunshine behind the depressing clouds?

Whenever you meet a deadlock, look back and see how you’ve gone so far. It has been tough, so so tough, but you’ve got to believe it is never ever the end of the road. We have so many things yet to treasure, how could you just walk away without saying sorry? I’m not sure whether you will reach heaven in your life after, but it is undeniable that you just send your loved ones to hell. Their hearts are torn into shreds, their lines of tears have never been dry, their souls are dying out… The moment the hammer is raised to knock the pieces of coffin together, the sound is so painfully loud, nails are dropped, bloodcurdling screams are heard, and finally it has become a complete piece. And also, the fragile hearts are broken.

Think for a minute or two of your loved ones. You might have changed your fate.

I think of committing suicide before, because of family problems, financial problems and so and so. I even come up with ways of minimize the pain from the suicide. Hahaa. But these negative thoughts will vanish away easily as, again, I find new hope to move on and get over the predicament.

It is up to your decision, whether to end it all, or start all over again, but make sure there are no apologies.

Suicide? Sweet-cide? It is just a matter of opinion.
